North Georgia Mountains · November 13–15, 2026
A retreat for women who believe in magic and making things happen.
Equal parts restorative retreat & girl's trip.
Practical Magic Retreat was created to help you do just that. Throughout the weekend, you'll be guided through workshops and experiences designed to open you up to possibility and wonder — while also offering grounded, practical tools you can carry home to stay connected to this sense of expansion.
Expect meaningful conversations, immersive practices, and a playful, welcoming environment. All of this unfolds while tucked away in a dreamy, nature-surrounded home in the North Georgia mountains.
"At the intersection of strategy & spirituality, pragmatism & possibility, lies practical magic — the kind that blooms when women gather to rest, play and reconnect with themselves & each other."
Practical Magic Retreat · November 2026
Workshops in dream activation, intention setting, and the everyday art of romanticizing your life. Grounded practices that actually work.
Real-world practices to take home, like values-based budgeting & nervous system regulation.
Tucked in the North Georgia mountains — comfort food, fresh air, and the particular kind of medicine that only the forest can offer.
Deep, meaningful connection with women who get it. The kind of friendship that feels like coming home — and maybe starting a coven.
Your guides don't take themselves too seriously. Belly laughs, midnight margaritas, and the reminder that joy is its own kind of magic.
A weekend to reconnect with who you are beneath the grind. Come home to yourself. You'll leave knowing you were never lost.

Our retreat will take place at a beautiful private riverside cabin just outside Dahlonega, set on 7.5 wooded acres along the Etowah River. The spacious home is designed for gathering and relaxation, with expansive porches overlooking the woods and water, cozy indoor living spaces, and amenities like a hot tub, barrel sauna, fire pit, and riverfront seating areas perfect for reflection or connection.
The house includes a variety of bedroom layouts to support different comfort levels: bunk rooms for those choosing the shared accommodation option, as well as queen and king bedrooms that may be reserved either privately or shared with another guest.
We don't take ourselves too seriously or think we have all the answers. We'll show up as our full, messy selves, which hopefully gives you the space to do the same. We approach facilitation from a mindset that all participants have something valuable to offer and meaningful connection happens when we can drop the masks.
Psychology Lecturer · Holistic Life Coach · Group Facilitator
Rebekah Baldwin is a psychology lecturer, certified holistic life coach, and group facilitator whose work centers on helping people reconnect with themselves, one another, and the deeper meaning woven through everyday life. With a background in somatic and ecopsychology and years of experience guiding reflective and experiential gatherings, Rebekah creates spaces that invite curiosity, presence, and genuine connection. Her approach blends psychological insight with embodied practices and thoughtful conversation—offering participants opportunities for self-reflection and intention setting, along with practical tools and strategies for everyday life. At the heart of her work is a commitment to nurturing individual well-being and meaningful community as the foundation for creating a more beautiful world together.
Artist · Sound Healer · Mindfulness Facilitator
Rachel has a gift for creating spaces where women remember who they are. As co-founder of the Atlanta-based sacred bass duo SurprisinglySimple, she has spent years weaving live vocal harmonics, guided meditation, and intentional presence into experiences that are simultaneously electrifying and deeply stilling — the kind that linger in the body long after the music stops. She holds space for the sacred and the silly in equal measure — meditation one moment, booty poppin' the next — freeing others to do the same. With over a decade of meditation facilitation and a background in neuroscience-based mindfulness, she brings both rigor and magic to her work. People leave her sessions describing it as remembering themselves at the core of their being — a clarity that feels less like learning something new and more like coming home to what was always there. Rachel believes every woman carries an infinite well of inner resources. Her work at this retreat is simple: help you find your way back to it.
Embodiment Facilitator · Multidisciplinary Artist · Creative Director
Ashley Clara (serpentene) is an embodiment facilitator, multidisciplinary artist, and creative director who helps women reconnect to themselves through movement, expression, and presence. With over 15 years in performance, styling, and immersive experiences, she brings a grounded and intuitive approach to personal and creative exploration.
Her work centers on archetypal embodiment as a lived practice inspiring participants to move beyond overthinking and into the body, where confidence, creativity, and self-trust can naturally emerge and be expressed.
This retreat is designed for women (any individual whose gender experience aligns with womanhood) who are craving time to slow down, reflect, and reconnect — with themselves, with others, and with the deeper rhythms of life. You do not need any prior experience with retreats, mindfulness practices, or personal development work to attend. If you're feeling drawn to meaningful conversation, time in nature, and the opportunity to step away from daily responsibilities for a weekend of restoration and connection, this retreat is likely a good fit for you.
Yes. Practical Magic Retreat is intended to be a welcoming and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ participants. We believe that meaningful community is rooted in respect, care, and the recognition of each person's lived experience. This retreat is open to women, and we define woman broadly and inclusively as anyone whose gender experience aligns with womanhood, based on their own self-identification. This includes trans women and gender-diverse individuals who feel a connection to womanhood. Our intention is to cultivate a space where everyone can feel safe, respected, and able to participate authentically.
Not at all. Many participants attend retreats on their own, and it's often one of the most meaningful ways to experience the weekend. The retreat is intentionally designed to create a welcoming and supportive group environment where conversations and connections can unfold naturally. By the end of the weekend, most participants find they've formed genuine connections with people they may not have met otherwise.
The Practical Magic Retreat is not affiliated with any particular religion or spiritual tradition. Our approach is grounded in psychology, reflection, nature connection, and meaningful conversation. Some of the practices we explore — such as mindfulness, intention setting, and group reflection — may feel personally meaningful or even spiritual for some participants, but everyone is welcome to engage with the experience in whatever way feels authentic to them.
No special level of fitness is required to participate in the retreat. Most activities will involve gentle movement, reflective exercises, and time spent outdoors, but everything will be adaptable to different comfort levels. Unfortunately, our venue this time is not wheelchair accessible. Participants are always encouraged to listen to their bodies and participate in ways that feel supportive for them. If you have questions about accessibility or specific needs, please reach out — we're happy to discuss how to make the experience comfortable for you.
The retreat will take place in Dahlonega, Georgia. The exact address and arrival details will be shared with registered participants prior to the retreat.

The retreat home offers a mix of shared bunk-style rooms as well as queen and king bedrooms that can be reserved privately or shared with another guest. Yes. Private room options are available and can be selected during registration.
Transportation is not provided, so participants will need to arrange their own travel to the retreat location.
We ask that all participants plan to arrive no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, so everyone can be present for the opening ceremony beginning at 5:30 PM. Please plan your travel and work schedules accordingly.
If this timing presents a challenge but you're still interested in attending, feel free to reach out at practicalmagicretreat@gmail.com and we'll do our best to discuss possible options.
Each day will include a mix of guided workshops, reflective practices, shared meals, and unstructured time to rest or explore the property. Some activities will take place as a full group, while others will allow space for quieter reflection or small group conversation.
While the retreat schedule is thoughtfully designed, we also believe that spaciousness is an important part of the experience, so there will be time to relax, enjoy the surroundings, journal, or connect informally with other participants. A more detailed schedule will be shared with participants closer to the retreat date.
No. While we encourage participants to engage with the retreat experience as fully as they feel comfortable, all activities are optional. This weekend is meant to support your well-being, and you're always welcome to listen to your needs — whether that means joining a session, taking a quiet walk, resting, or spending time in reflection.
To keep the experience intimate and meaningful, the retreat will be limited to 12 participants, not including your guides. This smaller group size allows for deeper conversation, personal reflection, and genuine connection throughout the weekend.
